Sips N Strokes/War Eagle!!

I have been getting ready for football season, just a little bit. While Jamie was here we went to the AU/UA sips n strokes in Trussville and painted our favorite mascots. Neither one of us took our cameras but we had Jamie's camera phone so we managed to get a few pics. (Of course, I painted that awesome looking Aubie. He is too cute!)

What's Been Happening with the Bauers?

Hey everyone! It has been a little while since I have posted. Our computer is still out and we have been to busy to stop and get it fixed. Hopefully it will be on the mend soon and we can get back up and running at home.
The Watson's have been visiting for the past two weeks and they left last Thursday headed back to Maine. They stayed with us for the two weeks and we enjoyed every minute of it! I have some pictures of everyone, but I can't load them on my computer here at work.
My mom had an arteriogram last Friday due to some breathing problems she has been having. Everything turned out good - no blockage - and she has to follow-up with her doctor in about a week to see if she needs more testing. We are very thankful that nothing was wrong with her heart. She decided that she wanted to go on a beach trip when this was all over, so Allie and I are headed back to the beach on Thursday with them. Bill wasn't able to get off work, so he will be staying at home.
Other than that, we are working and Allie is going to school. Allie starts pre-school on August 25th and we are so excited. In addition to that, she will be going to dance and music classes. Oh, and she is almost potty trained!!! This has been a huge ordeal for us all, but she is wearing "big girl" undies now and hasn't had any accidents. I am so excited for her!
I know you are all getting ready for back to school and football season!!! I hope that the rest of this year holds special things for us all!!

Here is Cindy and her new boyfriend Thomas. I say new boyfriend but they have been dating a year now. We just met him this weekend so he is new to us. He is a really great guy and is wonderful with Allie.

Yesterday was Thomas' (Cindy's beau) birthday, so we celebrated by making homeade pizzas. Here is Allie and her daddy making pepperoni pizza.

My sister in law brought her new boyfriend home this weekend. We broke him in good with a Bauer water gun/hose pipe fight. I think that we will keep him.

Cindy (Bill's sister) and I spent all last night decorating these things. I think that they turned out pretty good.

Here is Allie with her great-grandparents. We are spending the weekend here in Andalusia visiting with family. I tried to get a picture of Allie before she got all messed up, but at this point she was sweating and had been playing with water guns.

The Track

 

We had to take the girls to Kids Kountry at The Track in Gulf Shores. The girls had a wonderful time.

I think that these girls had sand in every crevace of their bodies. I know that Allie got a handful and put it in her mouth-but she only did it one time.

The Wildlife

 

We had a couple of baby alligators and lots of turtles off of the balcony of our condo. Marlee and Allie had to go and see them every morning.

Crazy Girls at the Beach!

 

We went with the Diliberto's to the beach last week and Allie & Marlee had a blast! If one girl had something, the other one wanted it. They wanted to take baths together and eat the same things. They are definitely two peas in a pod.

Allie's First Haircut

 

I am back for now!!! I am in Andalusia finally able to use a computer. Our's is still on the fritz.

Anyway, the Friday before we went to the beach I took Allie to get her first real haircut. She did really well and sat very still for Cindy. Now you can't even tell it was cut. This child's hair grows so fast!
