The Kids

 

Allie, Sydney and Will were all in the wedding yesterday. They all looked so cute and did really well. I didn't get any pictures during the wedding (of course), but if I find someone who did, I will try to post some.

The Reception

 

The reception was wonderful - the food, the music - everything.

Unfortunately, we lost a wonderful man yesterday during the reception. My sister's new father-in-law passed away after a 6 month battle with cancer. I ask that you please say a prayer for the Horn family as they are mourning the loss of their father/husband/grandfather. Our family's love and prayers go out to them during this difficult time.

Let the Games Begin!!

 

Jo and Stephen have hired Feel the Beat Entertainment for their DJ tonight at the wedding. They also offer a thing where they will come to the rehearsal dinner and play wedding jeopardy - so of course, they wanted that too.

After the dinner, we played wedding jeopardy - it was the bridesmaids agains the groomsmen and it was trivia all about the bride and groom. The groomsmen won by 10 pts (boo!) but it was only because our wager at the end was more than theirs.

I highly recommend Feel the Beat for any occassion! They are awesome and really know how to get the crowd going!

The Rehearsal Dinner

 

After we got done at the church, Stephen's parents, Joyce and Kelton hosted a dinner for us at Jim N Nick's in Homewood. The food was great and we all enjoyed each others company.

The Rehearsal

 

The rehearsal went pretty smooth last night and we got done in record time. Jo & Stephen have a great group of friends and family standing up for them today.

Bridesmaid's Luncheon

 

Yesterday we went to Brio Tuscan Grill for the bridesmaid's luncheon. We all had a great time and got some really cute gifts from Joana.

The countdown is now on!! Only 6 days left until the big day!

The Happy Couple

 

Last night we had Jo & Stephen's Tool & Gadget shower at Superior Grill here in B'ham. Everyone had a blast at the party, especially the Happy Couple.

Thanks to the wedding party who helped host it. You guys are awesome!!

The Cake

 

I thought that their cake turned out sooo cute! Louise's did a great job as usual and it was delicious!

Jo & Stephen had a good time opening presents & hanging out with their friends. The food was awesome too!

And then Came the Snow!!

 

The snow started falling in Nashville around 9 pm Saturday night. It was soooo cold walking up & down those streets.

Girls Just Want to Have Fun!

 

After the party at the hotel, we went out to 2nd Avenue and to Broadway in downtown Nashville. We went to Decades & the Wild Buck Saloon.

Lots of Lingerie and the Bachelor

 

Saturday night we had Jo's lingerie party in the hotel bar/restaurant before going out. Jo racked up on some cute stuff and had an awesome time.

Then came the bachelor party downstairs....They were a fun group of guys. We hope that the groom made it home okay.....we heard his guys lost him at some point in the night.

We were in Nashville this weekend for my sister Joana's bachelorette party. Everyone is resting up for a fun night on the town.
