Goin' to Grandma's House

Well, Allie left for her BB and Grandad's house in South Alabama this morning. She went for the week to visit and get spoiled!! When we checked on her, she was already having a blast.
I will post pictures of her week when they send me some.

We went to Gardendale Park for Marlee's birthday this past Sunday. I can't believe that she is 2 already.

The Blink Lady

We took Allie to see Bonnie, The Blink Lady, back in August. Bonnie did an awesome job, and I would recommend her to anyone with children. Her web address is www.theblinklady.com.

This Morning....

Okay, so this morning, my wonderful husband was getting ready to go to work. It was really early, so he came back to wake me up to tell me bye. He woke me up and said, " I have to go, but before I do, I have to show you something." "If I show you, you won't get mad at me right?" I finally said no, but wanted to know what was going on. He said, "well, we have a CRITTER in the house, but don't get mad when I show you." I was half awake at this point, and said okay-BIG MISTAKE! He pulled out a plastic bag with a 6" long snake in it!!!!!! I came off the bed, I know. Or I blacked out for a minute, I can't remember.
Anyway, here was this snake going crazy in this bag. Bill said that he was coming down the hallway to tell me by, and he saw something crawling down the hall. He turned the light on and there he was. Needless to say, I was not able to go back to sleep, and I don't know if Allie and I will be able to sleep here tonight. I called my mom this morning and said we may be having a slumber party at her house tonight.
I also had a talk with Molly and Gracie-our dogs. They are suppose to take care of things like this for us. They weren't too thrilled of the idea of killing snakes-they just looked at me in disgust. I guess we will be getting a cat.

What's up with that??

Okay, it is almost midnight. I am still up and I am ill that the Auburn Tigers just lost to SFU 26-23.

What is going on with the team this year??? And what happened to the quarterback-was he there at all tonight?

Peyton, I guess we can start watching the games together again now.

Auburn vs South Florida 9/8/07

We thought we would try out AU camo tonight. Maybe it will work better than last week. We have also decided not to watch it with Chris, Peyton and Marlee just in case we jinxed them last week. (J/K, it is just because mommy is sick)

Anyway, hope you all enjoy the game tonight-WAR EAGLE! GO TIGERS!!

BTW, Allie is 22 months old today!!

What's up with the Bauer's??

Well, sorry guys, no blogging this week. The mommy of the house has been broken down by sickness-strep and bronchitis! It has been a rough week for me, but after 2 shots yesterday, and 3 new medications, I am on the road to recovery. Let's just hope and pray that no one else gets this-especially Allie.

Allie has had a great week though. Her grandparents came up from Andalusia, and she got to play with them for a couple of days. Today, she is shopping with my parents-of course she is, that is all they ever do!! But Allie likes to be on the go with them, and it gives me a chance to rest and catch up on this housework.

We will be cheering on our Auburn Tigers tonight in their game against South Florida-on the couch, of course. Hopefully this won't be as bad a week for them as last week-even though we did pull off a win.

Hope you all had a great week and will enjoy pulling for your teams this weekend! I just love the fall and all that comes with it. Now, if it could just get a little cooler here down South, everything would be okay!

Auburn Girls and Friends Forever

It was a rough night for our Tigers last night, but they pulled out a win none the less. I know all of you Tiger fans were on the edge of your seats until the end of the game, and I think that is how our team likes it.

Next week is South Florida. Hopefully it will be a blow-out!!
