As some of you know, my friend, Michelle (Sublett) Wilson broke her ankle yesterday while visiting her mom in Atlanta. She was stepping off of a curb, when her ankle turned wrong, breaking 3 bones and dislocating another.
After being rushed to the ER by ambulance, they had to set the dislocation twice-Thanks to the nurse who let go of it the first time! Then they bandaged her up.
This morning she underwent surgery to repair the broken bones. She had 2 metal plates put in and a number of screws to fix her ankle right up. She will stay in the hospital tonight and then go back to her mom's house for a couple of weeks. I think that they will be back here in Birmingham before August 9th, because the girls have to start school.
Please say a prayer for Michelle for a speedy recovery. I will try and get her mom's address if anyone wants to send her some well wishes.
