These guys are SILLY!

Kevin, Bill and Stephen all got funny T-shirts from my mom and dad. Kevin's is a pic of Fred Samford on it saying something, and Stephen's is What Would Chuck Norris DO? Bill's is a Bauer CTU shirt-since our last name is Bauer. All of the medics at work call him Jack Bauer anyway.

And the party continues....

We went back to my mom's this afternoon to open presents with the 9 of us. Allie got more than we were hoping for. I don't know how I will ever get all of this stuff in my house.

Mommy and daddy got some good gifts too.

We go to Dothan in a couple of days to do it all over again with Bill's family. OMG!!

Allie Was A Good Girl!!

Allie racked up this year with gifts from Santa! Her daddy and I didn't realize how good she had been. Santa knows what's up!

Almost Ready for Bed

Here are some shots I took of Allie before she went to bed last night. Even though she is 2, she was excited that Santa was coming to her house, and did not want to go to sleep right away.

Getting Ready for Santa

Allie has her Christmas pj's on and is ready to go to bed so Santa can come. We told him that she had been a good girl this year, so hopefully he will bring her something special.

Don't forget to leave the cookies and milk!! I just took our cookies out of the oven.

Christmas at Monna and Pawpaw's

Today we went to my mom and dad's for lunch. Everything was yummy and Allie had a great time. We will go back tomorrow afternoon to unwrap presents. Everyone couldn't be there tonight-some of them had to work.

We hope all of you are enjoying time with your families and remembering the true meaning of Christmas.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Bauer's

Yea Daddy!!

We went to Bill's company Christmas party this past Thursday and he was selected as the RPS EMT of the Year for Jefferson County. I was very excited for him-it was a surprise.

Keep up the good work daddy!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I can't believe next week will be Christmas! This year has gone by so fast, but I am glad to see it go. I finally got most of my house decorated, and it looks pretty good. We finished up our shopping today, now I just have to get wrapping. I was told that Allie was a good girl this year, so I am sure that Santa will be good to her.

Well, hope you all have a good week. Talk to you all soon!
Love, Jenn

Decorating 2007

Decorating this year is going to be a process. Here is Bill's attempt at putting the lights on the house. He did a good job, but of course we blew a fuse when they were turned on.
We have been trying to get the Christmas tree out, but now Bill has come down with the virus that Allie had over the weekend.
Oh well, it will be up before 12/24.

What's Happening with the Bauer's?

Well, not much really. That is why I haven't posted in a while. Bill was off this past weekend and we thought we were going to get a lot done, but our little Allie bug came down with a virus and was running a 103 temp all weekend (She is much better now). We did manage to get the Christmas lights up around the outside of the house, only to blow a fuse and have them not working now. (It's been a great weekend all around). I will have to post pics of Bill on the roof with the lights. I kid you not, he backed his truck up to the front door, put the ladder in the bed of his truck, and climbed up on the roof. I thought I was going to the ER that afternoon. At least he could have told me how to treat him until the ambulance got there.
This Saturday is the time the Davis girls all get together to bake cookies. We were wanting to get a Cookie Swap together this year, but it just didn't happen. Maybe we can get it done next year.
Saturday is also the day that my grandfather would have been 84. I can't believe that it has been 6 months since we lost my grandparents. The holidays are going to be hard this year. I am glad that the rest of the family will be here to celebrate.

Well, I hope that you are all excited and getting ready for Christmas. I promise to post pictures soon.
Merry Christmas to Everyone!!
